Ever since my first job in print media over 20 years ago, I have really enjoyed doing publication layouts. Magazines, books, catalogs, anything really- working with text and images in this way feels like putting together a puzzle. A puzzle with strict deadlines and occasionally changing pieces. On some projects I was responsible for just the design and layout. In others I took on more of an editor’s coordinating role as well as copywriting and design. Either way, I always loved the challenge. Here are a few samples of recent work.
