This was the first project I did for Arabella Voice Studio. The client had written the copy for this fun and educational story, but needed illustrations and layout to make the project ready for distribution to her young voice students.
Given the extreme time crunch for turnaround (less than 12 hours!)it was pretty clear that hand-made illustrations were not an option. So I decided to jump on the bandwagon and use AI generated images combined with some fine-tuning in Photoshop to bring the project together.
Even using AI, a lot of work went into both prompts and image editing, to ensure that the images went along with the story, and had a consistent look and feel that was age appropriate to the audience. The resulting “Simon the Sound Wizard” is a cute, 5 page storybook in which our wizard collects different kinds of sounds from a myriad of fantasy characters and teaches children to repeat the sounds that he has discovered throughout his journey.
