This print ad was for a guidebook at the Pacific Business Expo that K2 was operating a booth at. In order to help drive business to the booth, the company had decided to give away tickets to Hamilton in a raffle.
The company was new on the scene in a niche industry and surrounded by more established businesses. I chose to have the owner’s face figure prominently in the ad to create a sense of familiarity and help people be more comfortable with seeking out and approaching him at the Expo. Use of shadow and gradients made “page-turning” effect on the bottom right hand corner.
