These informational sheets were designed to be handouts for educational seminars for potential clients and other entities. The main message was that spending more up front could save huge expenditures down the road. It is a message that is both counterintuitive and not easily accepted by most potential clients. We approached this by explaining the process in detailed and clear-cut language that emphasized the part that was most important to potential clients.
Text was carefully examined, rewritten for conciseness, and broken up to provide emphasis. Graphics were made to better illustrate. Colors and fonts were chosen to align with ENPRO’s preexisting branding and to appeal to the audience, real estate developers interested in environmental services.
A version of the handout was adopted and used by the Hawaii DOH to illustrate state regulations.
